What kind of projects is the solution suited to?
Any multi-vendor marketplace where suppliers offer products or services to buyers: online sales of new or second-hand goods, a rental or booking platform, services between individuals or professionals, B2B/B2C/C2C, a monetised classified ads site.
It is not suited to single-vendor shops or plain showcase sites.
Do I need technical skills, or to hire a developer?
No. You drive everything from the admin interface: categories, ad characteristics, commissions, subscriptions, moderation, users, orders, statistics. Medialem handles development, hosting and maintenance, trains you during the first month and provides ongoing support. If you do hire, it will be on the business and marketing side.

How are security and scaling handled?
